Stump Grinding in Vancouver

When a tree is removed a stump remains, digging it out by hand is only an option if the tree is relatively small and can become very labour intensive with increasing tree sizes. The use of an excavator for digging/pulling out a stump can be disruptive to your landscape and may not be an option for larger trees or where access for heavy machinery is limited.

Stump grinders on the other hand are more nimble and can enter tight spaces more easily than an excavator, which will not fit through a standard garden gate. The grinder turns the stump into pulp, up to a depth of ca. 1 to 2 ft. below ground level, once the grinding is finished the area can be reused for planting and landscaping.
